.: about Us

In 1988 ' The Gravesham Association of Driving Instructors ' or the GADI was formed with a membership of 42 driving instructors from Gravesend and the surrounding towns and villages of Kent.

The GADI was originally formed to bring driving instructors together, to discuss issues concerning the industry of teaching pupils to drive safely, not just to 'get them through their driving test'.

It was originally started to get the pupil charging rate the same for lessons, which would help the instructor obtain a decent and fair lesson price.

We now meet up normally on the last Friday of the month and discuss issues concerning the roads, road signage, road markings and various other subjects and matters concerning the driving instructor industry throughout the Gravesham borough.

Events, outings and various excursions are regularly organised, which we find helps the association to become strong and bond as a giant family of instructors. If you would like to become a member of the GADI, then you can contact one of our senior members via our Contact Us page!

.: join Us

If you would like to join us, then why not come and visit us when we gather together, for a real relaxed social evening and discussion at the Conservative Club, Gravesend. The Conservative Club is situated in Parrock Street which is in the town centre of Gravesend and we normally meet up on a regular basis on the last friday in the calendar month.

Our next meeting is on: Thursday 4th February 2010 at 8pm - ** Special Invite Night **

This special meeting will be attended by various persons from the DSA and will be discussing the usual issues concerning the practical driving test and CPD and more !

It is recommended that you check with us, to make sure that any of the dates supplied within this site have not changed, before turning up to avoid disapointment!

Hope to see you soon;
